  • I really hope that you at least remake Saint because I found him too late to amass the required funds before he was retired and I was completely gutted as I wanted him to create a specific look. Old Saint was the most beautiful doll I had ever seen.

  • I’m glad that you are taking as many opinions as you can into consideration. It shows that you do care about our input. I look forward to seeing your decision, and while I hope to see both of these boys released again, if they aren’t, that is okay too.

  • I second what Deanne said on the comment above, but regarding Bermann. When I got the necessary funds to join the BJD hobby, Bermann was long gone. So I do hope you remake him. He has been a dream for many people in the hobby and I don’t believe it’s a promise break since it’s going to be a remake. I hope from the bottom of my heart that you give me the oppotunity to buy this doll I’ve dreamt about for so long.

Wait, was the prize not a Saint or Bermann?
If you announce a winner on the 7th that means Dollshe already decided to re-release them, or?

  • I’m glad you’re taking both sides into consideration, but I have to strongly disagree with the people who are opposed to your decision. You have created a doll that we all love so much – one whose aesthetic will never grow old – and one of the more rare gems in the hobby. Since you have done this the decision is yours. A lot of us were not in the hobby that long ago or those of us who were may not have been able to get a hold of Bermann. He is a dream doll for many of us and I think that you re-releasing him with changes to the doll is the perfect answer. It will keep the value of the original so those customers can still feel “special” and will give the rest of us a chance to own that gem renewed. I appreciate you for doing what you are doing and giving us another shot. Those who are opposed do not fully understand and are speaking from a more personal and honestly snobby point of view. We all want things that make us feel unique and that is okay, but I am sorry to see that so many of your past customers are insulting and not being very mature or grateful about this. Without you this doll would not exist and we would never have known this issue, so I am thankful for that even if it’s weird right now.

Again, re releasing him with some changes and in limited quantities is the best way. I would strongly suggest he be a limited doll again to make both sides happy. You’re very good at your business practice and I want to say thank you for giving us a shot at this beautiful boy again. And thank you for creating him in the first place, you have created a legend in the hobby.

  • I’m very much tempted to get the new Saint or Bernard, I saw the new body, the proportions are totally different from the ones of Arsene so I’m afraid they would look, well, strange together.
