This is our first African head we made. I wanted to make an African head for a long time. I love basketball. I used to play basketball almost everyday when I was in college. I am a big fan of Michael Jordan, Ellen Iverson, and Kobe Bryant and my current favorite player is Derrick Rose. I watch NBA often so I had a lot of fun making this African head.

I still play basketball once in a while with African friends who are staying in Korea as an English teacher. They are stereoscopic and their shining skin texture is indeed attractive. I observed their characteristic and impression very closely while making this head. Since this is the first African head, I am not sure if everything has been expressed as I intended but I have tried my very best.

King Corey is one tough African descent. It suits well with 28M Classic body and has unified masculine impression. The body is Pose Plus. The mobility has been maximized and it can take various poses very easily.

Here are some picture of King Corey.

I hope many people are interested in this head.

  • Oh I love this head. Im sure you will find a lot of interest in him. You are so creative and keep coming out with these new dolls and I’m having a tough time keeping up with you sir 🙂 He is awesome. I have two fashion dolls coming from you and want to purchase a full size one day. I see him as a light skinned Shemar Moore myself 😉

    • Thank you for the kind words. King Corey head has a unique characteristic. I tried my best to express the look of African American skull as vividly as possible. African americans are very attractive. The size of Classic Type (full size) has an unique impression. It has different charming appeal than the small dolls (Fashion Type).

We hope you can experience the charm of Classic type yourself in the near future.

We did not refer to any actors in particular but now that you have mentioned, the head does look similar to Shemar Moore. I am thinking of making more African American heads in the near future, if I have the chance.
