Shipping delay of 28M Fashion Line and 26F Fashion Line

Dear, Valuable customers of DollShe Craft,

My name is Kiyong, the original Master Sculptor of DollShe craft.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in shipping. Here I have attached the picture of work in progress.

It is taking longer than expected to work on the detail of the original sculpt as there are many hand and feet parts for 28M FASHION and 26F FASHION. It is harder to work on 28M FASHION and 26F FASHION because they are small. Since we cannot delay the shipping any further, we will be shipping the dolls in the composition of basic hand and feet parts first and ship the extra parts separately as soon as they are available.

In the beginning, I have announced that we will take orders from December and it would take about 5 months until actual shipping. I thought that would have been enough time to finish the doll. However, I am suffering from an autoimmune disease called dyshidrotic eczema. There is no medical cure for it and it requires a permanent care throughout my entire life. I believe I got this disease while working with putty and chemicals with bare hands all night long. Dyshidrotic eczema is accompanied by severe itching and blisters so when I push myself to the limit working on the dolls, the blisters pop and I cannot fall asleep since it is so itchy. It may sound like an excuse, but I tried to finish the original sculpt as soon as possible even in this horrible physical condition. However, my hand condition kept getting worse and could not continue working on the dolls for a while. When it gets worse, I had to take 2 weeks off and the symptom would reappear after working on the dolls for a few days. Regardless of the reasons, it is clearly my fault that we could not ship the doll in time.

I am the president of the company and this business operates based upon the production of dolls from myself, however, this kind of shipping delay is damaging the business. I promise I will not damage the operation of DollShe craft business due to my own mistake.

Therefore, in the future, we will take orders only when the original sculpt is finished and casting has started so we will not have to miss the shipping deadline for our future orders.

The original sculpt is finished as much as you can see in the pictures. I will make my best effort to finish the original sculpt in the best quality so I can be proud of myself. I will post addition pictures and an official announcement when the doll is completely finished.

    Mr Kiyong, you are a true artist. Thanks for making molds that look so perfect and detailed, I can see all the love and dedication that you give to every doll. Please give yourself a break when your body ask for it, they are necessary, even if the job takes longer, it will still be there when you’re ready. Your health and your family is important. Thanks for all!

      Thank you for your kind concern about my health. We are already behind the schedule for shipping the backorders so it is not possible to take a break at the moment. Even if I do, I will not feel comfortable. My mind will be at east when I finish everything that is due. Because of my health condition, I am planning on reducing the work time and get as much sleep as I can. In the mean time, when I do work on my dolls, I will concentrate that much more to maximize the efficiency.

I believe I can recover soon when I take a break after finishing the current project perfectly. I still believe I am young so hopefully I will recover quickly.

      However, everybody who is waiting for the doll does not have the same point of view as far as shipping delay is concerned. I will try my best not to allow same thing happen again. I will finish the doll as soon as possible while my health condition allows.

    Mr. Kiyong, it is magic that you create with your hands but they deserve the same love that you give to your work! As a customer I wish that you take as much time as you need to maintain your health no matter the wait. I appreciate you sharing with us, I looked up your condition and it made me sad that you are going through this. I am hoping that you take some time for yourself and get some needed rest.

    Thank you for sharing these photos, they make me really excited to see the level of detail on such a small doll. My favorite parts are the hands and feet, no one makes such beautifully crafted hands like you.

      I heard allergies on hand has no permanent cure. The best cure is constant care and not abusing them. I am trying to get as much sleep as possible these days. Thank you for your kind concern. I feel very sorry for those who are waiting due to this delay in shipping and am trying to finish it as soon as possible to take some rest. I am still young so I believe I can recover quickly enough.

    Mr.kiyong , first of all sorry my english is not well..i buy ur doll through my friend nina vladimir, iam very sad to hear ur illness , hope you will be better and God will hear my pray..just rest first, because ur healty is more important, i will wait ur beautiful doll with patient, because a masterpice is takes time and sacrifice from the artist, and i very appreciate that

      I do not speak English very well so I am using a translator to reply for me. I started studying English but I am so busy these days so I temporarily stopped for a while.

      My health condition is bad but it is not too serious. I am suffering from chronic fatigue due to overwork. However, I am trying to get as much sleep as possible these days so the level of fatigue can be reduced. Allergy on the hand got more serious than ever so I can’t fall asleep at nite due to itchness, which leads to the worst condition next morning.

      I will try not to overwork and maintain a good health condition so I can continue to make beautiful dolls. Thank you for your kind concern and it really encourages me that you like my dolls.

    Dear Mr Dollshe Kiyong,

    I hope you get well soon I used to suffer from something similar when I was younger but it was my hands and feet I was never diagnosed with an auto immune disease though I guess the dr didnt do any additional testing because I just all of a sudden stopped having problems with it. I think mine flared up due to stress so I agree with what the others are saying take a break and try to relax. My dermatologist had to give me steroids to clear mine up nothing else worked. I am looking forward to getting my doll but not in a hurry where it effects your health I know I will enjoy him no matter what. I do appreciate that you keep us posted though. You take care of yourself and get well.

      Thank you for worrying about my health. I was told mine is caused by immune and hyperactivity and should care for it indefinitely. However, luckily it is not that serious so if I get good sleep and less stress, I would have no problem living everyday life.

      I am allowing myself to work on the doll based on my health condition. I will try to send it to you as soon as possible. You are one kind person to understand my situation and worry about my health in despite of this horrible delay in shipping.

    I love your dolls (I own six, and am waiting for a 26F girl), and admire your dedication as both an artist and the head of your company. You have created amazing works of art, and have made doll collectors happy all over the world 🙂

    With that said, I very much hope that you take the time you need to recover your health, and that you take rest and spend time with your family as you need it. Your health is more important than being in a hurry to receive a doll.

    I think that your decision to wait until dolls are ready for casting in the future is a good one — but in the meanwhile, I am sending you best wishes for good health and a happy work/life balance.

      We are trying our best to leave an impression to as many people as possible that we only make beautiful dolls. I am well aware of the fact that many people are disappointed because of this horrible delay in shipping.

      Everybody here at dollshecraft is trying our hardest to keep up with the dedication and effort we have put in from the beginning.

      I am taking time to exercise and trying to get as much sleep as possible these days. When my hand condition is fine, I work on the prototype diligently.

      Making dolls means a lot to me.

      Thank you for your kind concern about my health. I will make sure I look after myself. I have a specific plan for production until next year so I will be making dolls until then. I am trying not to stay up all night these days. I feel a lot better when I get enough sleep. Thank you for worrying about my health again.

      Thank you for ordering from us after cancelling the order. We thought we lost our credibility from you so we were very sad. Fashion line dolls are almost finished. Christmas secret parts are all completed with production and every doll will begin silicon molding process within this month and we are trying our best to be able to ship by September or October.
